ATTENTION - THE OAK HILLS 8TH WARD HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CARE AND UPKEEP OF THE CENTER PART OF THE CHURCH BUILDING (THE CHAPEL, CULTURAL HALL, STAGE, AND HIGH COUNCIL ROOM).

THIS IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY AMONG ALL OF US.  

If your last name begins with the letters R, S, or T, please consider staying after church for just a bit to help pick up and vacuum.  Please meet Mitchell Davies by the kitchen to help out.

May 21st - 7:40 pm Sealing session. Meet in the sealing office at 7:35 pm. No other ordinances are reserved. There are 21 walk-in seats available for the endowments session at 7 pm if you would like to do that instead. Meet at Two Jacks Pizza at 8:45 pm, even if you can't make it to the temple.

May 23rd - 9:00 am May Ward activity day trip to Wall Lake (1.5 hours north of Provo). Meet at the church at 9:00 am

June 11th - Thursday - Orem Utah Temple. Please choose one ordinance with this link. Endowment: 7:30 pm (13 spots), Initiatory (male): 7:30 pm (2 spots), Initiatory (female): 7:30 pm (7 spots). All reservations are under the name Oak Hills 8th Ward.

June 26 - 28th Utah County Mid-Single Adult Conference "Better Together" Meaningful Connections through Christ. See the Facebook group for additional details. Visit the website to register. Feel free to contact Devery Larsen for any questions. 

July 5 - United Fast of Gratitude for Religious Liberty

Musical Numbers: If you are interested in doing a musical number during sacrament meeting, please contact Lindsay Priday.

Reminder: Activities will be wrapping up around 10:15 pm because the building needs to be cleaned and locked up by 10:30 pm. In the recent past, we have done activities until the sun comes up, but now we will respect the 10:30 pm time. Please plan your attendance accordingly.

Temple Foundations Class: Join us for the Temple Foundations class. We meet in the high council room during Sunday School hour. It is not Temple Prep. The Temple Foundations class is about enhancing our understanding of the temple, covenants, worship in the house of the Lord, and ministering on both sides of the veil.  Anyone can come to all the lessons or only the topics that most interest them.
